Karen Sablowsky is an experienced VR professional with a comprehensive background in health care, social work and vocational rehabilitation. With a CVRP-TSA credential from the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals (CVRP) and a bachelor of social work from the University of Manitoba, she specializes in vocational counselling and disability management.

Karen provides individualized vocational rehabilitation counselling and case management for a diverse client population facing physical, emotional and cognitive challenges. She’s experienced in creating tailored vocational plans and facilitating successful job placements through collaboration with clients, employers and stakeholders.

Committed to professional development, Karen has pursued extensive training in areas such as Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Applied Positive Psychology, CBT and DBT. Dedicated to education and advocacy, she is also an active board member of VRA Canada, contributing her insights at national conferences and sharing knowledge on effective vocational rehabilitation practices. 

Her personal interests include creating art, sewing, reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, and travelling.
