Srividhya Mouli
Srividhya Mouli, PhD, is a scholar with expertise in human resources. She received her PhD in Human Resource Management from the University of Madras, India, with a research focus on competency-based performance management systems for the information technology industry.
Srividhya has more than 10 years of combined experience in the information technology sector as a human resources consultant, and with educational institutions in teaching and course development. As an HR consultant, she has developed competency-based performance management systems, designed HR analytics and developed end to end human resources processes. She has travelled to various countries including Sweden, Singapore, London and Scotland for research and to implement human resources processes.
Her expertise includes teaching courses in organizational behaviour, human resource management, performance management, training and development, talent management, workplace management, and leadership and innovation management for entrepreneurs. She was the head of the Master’s in Human Resource Management program and study abroad program at the University of Madras in India, where she organized study abroad opportunities for graduate students in countries like Ireland and the United Kingdom.
While she has both corporate and teaching experience, her passion for teaching led her to explore more concepts and challenges in the field of business. Her paper exploring leadership styles titled, “Transformational Leadership – A conceptual Analysis”, received international recognition.
She was a project lead and instructor in the professional development and training department at Vancouver Island University. She is the associate director of the Global Emerging Leadership Program, which was organized by several Canadian universities to aid international students in understanding global business administration with an emphasis on the Canadian domestic market.
