Minnie Karanja has dedicated her career to socio-economic justice and equity. For over a decade, she has worked in the non-profit sector in Canada and internationally. She approaches work through the lenses and values of intersectionality, justice, decolonization, equity, inclusion and diversity. 

As a coach and mentor, she works with non-profit and social impact leaders on values-aligned strategies to drive transformative change in communities. She is the founder and executive director of Impact Weaving Coaching and Consulting. In 2022, she was appointed to the Advisory Committee for the Charitable Sector, a consultative forum for the Government of Canada to engage in meaningful dialogue with the charitable sector. Her contribution informed equitable and inclusive practices and regulatory changes for the sector. 

She lives with her family in the traditional and ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations—also known today as Vancouver, British Columbia. She volunteers her time to mentor young professionals working in the social impact space and with local grassroots organizations.
