Lauren Kelly
Lauren Kelly is an education and research associate at Reciprocal Consulting, an award-winning firm grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing and being, and focused on culturally responsive evaluation, research, mentoring, project management and training.
Lauren was born and raised on the unceded lands of the Stó:lō Nation and is of mixed European ancestry with family from Ireland, Serbia, Czechia and Russia. She currently lives on the unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw, and mi ce:p kʷətxʷiləm Nations and as a uninvited visitor on these territories, is passionate about fostering truth-telling conversations around colonialism, white supremacy culture and responsible allyship to participate meaningfully in Truth and Reconciliation.
Lauren completed a master’s degree in Indigenous governance from the University of Victoria and has served as senior director of programs at the First Nations Technology Council. She brings to her teaching over 15 years of academic and community-based experience in enabling conditions for system change.
