Su-Yan Gay

Su-Yan Gay is a human resources professional with over 20 years of experience who has worked for several Canadian government organizations in various HR roles at the management level. Most recently, she was the chief human resources officer for a real estate organization. She has also managed her own HR consulting firm, in which she worked with public and private sector organizations in both Canada and the Caribbean.

Since 2016, Su-Yan has worked part-time as an HR instructor, sharing her passion for the human resources field. She has spent many hours researching various HR topics, and is now delighted to assist students with their own research.

Su-Yan holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Toronto, a bachelor of education from Brock University, and a master’s degree in human resources management from York University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in business administration. She also holds the professional designations of Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and Certified Training & Development Professional (CTDP).
