Mark Gruenheid

For over three decades, Mark Gruenheid has dedicated his energy to the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the Canadian workforce. A graduate of UBC, Mark has a professional background in recruiting and has worked as a vocational counsellor, marketer and job developer.  He facilitates workshops on disability awareness, vocational rehabilitation and job development. 

Previously, Mark was senior leader of Adult and Vocational Services at the BC Centre for Ability. He is currently a freelance vocational rehabilitation consultant. 

Mark employs a down-to-earth, hands-on approach to his work in the field and envisions a world where the word “disabled” is not used to describe people.
