Edward Hung
Edward Hung is an information technology manager at the City of Richmond with over 28 years of experience advancing and advocating management practices across the City’s operations. He has successfully delivered enterprise-wide, large-scale transformations and high-value projects, with a solid track record of setting and delivering strategy. These initiatives have extended the City’s digital interface and provide real-time information that engages, serves and connects with the community.
He also teaches at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business. He brings specialized expertise on enterprise business analysis, strategy execution and change management.
Edward has a bachelor of science in business management and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He is a certified Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) and Prosci change management professional.
As an active volunteer, Edward has served on the boards of the International Institute of Business Analysis’s Vancouver chapter and the Project Management Institute’s Canadian West Coast chapter, where he produced and conducted in-person and virtual educational workshops, certification study groups, and professional development webinars.
Edward enjoys sharing his experiences and reflecting on strategies and practices that lead to successful enterprise and business outcomes.
