Yasamin Alami

Yasamin Alami, CPA, articled in a variety of mid-size public practice firms in Vancouver and specialized in public company audits and corporate taxes. She obtained experience in a variety of industries, including mining, oil and gas, technology, and, once cannabis was legalized, publicly traded cannabis companies. She worked her way through the ranks, from junior to intermediate and senior accountant, and obtained valuable experience as a manager. At the time she juggled working full time with teaching part-time at various post secondary institutions. 

Since 2021 she transitioned to teaching full time at various post secondary institutions at the bachelor and master’s level and is trained to teach with the CPA Western School of Business. 

In her free time Yasamin challenges herself through long distance cycling and learning about human psychology.
