Olive Dempsey

The founder of an independent consulting practice, Olive Dempsey is an experienced facilitator, process designer, engagement strategist and coach.

With skills that bridge coaching, leadership development and strategic systems change, Olive specializes in supporting clients through complexity at multiple scales, from the personal to the institutional and beyond. Her diverse roster of clients has included the City of Vancouver, UBC, BCIT, Sierra Club BC and the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Olive developed her consulting practice after more than 15 years in the non-profit and advocacy sectors, where she led organizational change initiatives, strategic campaign planning, community engagement processes and environmental leadership programs.

In addition to an MA in environmental education and communication, Olive holds professional certifications in Co-Active Coaching, Authentic Leadership and Human Systems Dynamics. She regularly facilitates workshops and speaks on questions of psychological resilience and wellbeing in times of climate and environmental crisis.
