He is from Yellow Quill First Nation, and resides in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Ben has 11 years of experience in the communications industry, and currently works as the communicator and leader at Symmetry Public Relations, the agency he founded with his business partner in 2020. That same year, he was named on CBC’s Future40 list in the business and entrepreneurship category. Since then, he has won a number of national and international awards for his work.
He has been a lecturer since 2022, teaching courses in strategic communications at First Nations University and Indigenous business in Canada at the University of Saskatchewan before his current role at Simon Fraser University.
