City Program hosts fourth annual Bell Urban Forum
On March 5, we're pleased to welcome renowned urban planning scholars Susan S. Fainstein and Norman Fainstein to speak at the fourth annual Bell Urban Forum in Vancouver.
Made possible through a generous donation by Order of British Columbia recipient Larry Bell to the Department of Geography at UBC, this yearly forum provides an opportunity for our City Program to partner with UBC in bringing international thought leaders to our city.
This year, the topic will be “Thinking Cities? Evidence in Policy, Knowledge in Action.” Join us for an evening of insights and inspiration, as we explore the urgency and challenges of translating urban knowledge into action.
In addition to Susan and Norman Fainstein, the event will feature a panel discussion by Gil Kelley (City of Vancouver), Heather Campbell (SCARP, UBC) and City Program director Andy Yan, moderated by journalist Jen St. Denis.
The forum begins at 7 p.m. at the Segal Building. Tickets are available online for $5.
