Explore the future of transportation at free speaker series
The SFU City Program is thrilled to partner with TransLink Tomorrow to present the next Future of Mobility Speaker Series event. On July 24, check out Mobility as a Service: One app to plan, book and pay for all transportation at the Segal Graduate School of Business (500 Granville Street, Vancouver).
Mobility as a Service (MaaS), a concept that began in Finland, leverages technology and shared transportation modes—such as cars, bikes and scooters—to provide mobility services. It allows you to use a single app to plan, book and pay for all your transport services, regardless of mode.
The Future of Mobility event will feature two main speakers: transportation writer and mobility consultant David Zipper and Catherine Kargas, VP of MARCON and founding director of the Transportation Evolution Institute. Plus, they'll be joined in a panel discussion by Sandra Phillips, CEO and founder of movmi, and Hendrik Wolff, associate professor of economics at SFU.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and admission is free. Space is limited, so be sure to register in advance.
