Biography
Dr. Wenona Hall is Stó:lō from Sq’ewqeyl First Nation and the Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe located in Chilliwack B.C. Wenona joined SFU's Indigenous Studies Department in November 2022 as an Associate Professor and in September 2023 will assume the position of Chair of the Indigenous Studies Program. Dr. Hall's research interests are in Indigenous Governance, Indigenous Justice, Processes of Decolonization and Indigenous Resurgence. Wenona is also a mother of three beautiful children: Jade, Justice and Alexis Lyle Victor.
