Kinesiology professor Miriam Rosin was named director of the B.C. Oral Cancer Prevention Program and Oral Health Research Network, whose mandate is to develop a provincial oral health strategy. The U.S. National Institutes of Health acknowledged the worldwide applicability of Dr. Rosin’s research by awarding her team $2.5 million to pioneer use of a new fluorescence technology developed at the B.C. Cancer Agency.
