SNF Centre for Hellenic Studies participates in video reflecting on SNF's support of Hellenic studies programs at universities around the world
As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), one of the world's leading private, international philanthropic organizations, reflected on its support of Hellenic studies programs at universities around the world by producing a video on the theme of shared humanity through Hellenic studies.
Centre Director, Dimitris Krallis, contributes to the video by highlighting the impact of the SNF's support, not only on the expansion of Hellenic Studies at SFU, but in the wider community. The SNF supported the establishment of the Centre in 2011, and since then has enabled it to cultivate exciting partnerships and projects for the promotion of Greece's history, culture and language around the world. Last October, the Centre, in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Public Diplomacy and Greeks Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic and the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), announced the full release of Staellinika. The online platform and suite of apps provide individuals ranging from preschool-aged children to young adults with an innovative and engaging product designed to re-connect Greeks around the world with their heritage language and culture.
