Press release
Greek language certification exams postponed until fall 2020
In order to protect the health of our community during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the official Greek language certification or Ellinomatheia exams will be postponed until the fall of 2020.
The Centre for the Greek Language, which officially administers the exam, claims that those who have already registered and paid for this year's examinations will be automatically enrolled for the rescheduled fall dates once they have been set. The rescheduled registration period and examination dates will be announced on the Centre for the Greek Language website. Once the information has been announced, we will post the udpate our Ellinomatheia web page accordingly. Please contact the Centre for Greek Language directly with any questions or concerns.
While we at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Centre for Hellenic Studies understand that this scheduling change may present challenges for some, our priority at all times is to ensure the health and safety of our staff and candidates. We thank you all for your understanding and patience during this challenging time.
