BIOGRAPHY
Heather Montgomery is the Coordinator of Outreach and Community Engagement at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Centre for Hellenic Studies, located within the Department of Global Humanities at Simon Fraser University (SFU). Heather completed her Bachelor of Applied Science degree at SFU in 2010 with a major in Communications and a minor in Social Geography. Heather couldn't leave SFU behind for long and returned to campus as a staff member at Meeting, Event & Conference Services in 2012. After perfecting the art of events, Heather moved to the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences Dean's Office as the Assistant to the Associate Deans during the Covid pandemic which lead to a wild ride of new experiences and problem solving. Off campus, Heather can be found on the soccer pitch, in the yoga studio or doing whatever sport needs players! She is at the beck and call of a haughty cat and escapes to enjoy pastries and bread whenever possible.
