Two student groups from GEOG363 (Urban Planning and Policy) have been selected to present their final projects to City of Vancouver councillors and planners at CityStudio Vancouver's HUBBUB: a curated showcase of innovative city-building ideas from post-secondary students across the Lower Mainland.

In response to the prompt: "How can we make Vancouver's public spaces more inclusive, accessible, and diverse?”, students created unique assessment tools for Vancouver's public spaces.

Congratulations to the following students, and best of luck presenting at HUBBUB17, being held online 3 December 2021, 11am-12pm.

‘Need to Pee in Public? Urine Trouble’ : A Methodology For Accessible and Inclusive Public Washrooms In Vancouver

Team members: Abbas Hassan, Keiko Waight, Matthew DiSiena, Yuliya Pavlova

Pop-IN Site Assessment: Measuring Inclusion, Diversity, and Decolonization Within VIVA Vancouver’s Pavement-to-Plaza Spaces
