Students in a first year geography course tackle public climate change communication

Students in Tara Holland's GEOG 104 (Climate Change, Water, and Society) summer class were given an experiential learning alternative to their final class assignment on climate change communication: doing research for Skeptical Science, a popular website that dispels common climate change myths and misconceptions by providing scientific research-backed rebuttals.  Five SFU students took on the challenge and between them produced 170 glossary entries for the website to help support their rebuttals. Even after the course has ended, several of the students are continuing to work with the Skeptical Science team by translating their content into different languages!
