Wicked is a musical based on Gregoty Maguire's fictional prequel bppk of the same name to the well known tale "The Wizard of Oz".
The musical takes place in the Land of Oz, long before Dorothy's arrival, and centers around the unlikely friendship between two witches: Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba, later know as the Wicked Witch of the West. It delves into their complex relationship, exploring themes of friendship, love, acceptance, and the nature of good and evil.
