  1. This first gateway site: http://www.nalusda.gov/ is the home page of the National Agricultural Library (NAL). This library is a major international source for agriculture and related information. From this web site, the associated institutions of ISIS, AgNIC and Internet Sites can be assessed.

  2. The second gateway site: http://www.rural-europe.aeidle.be/rural-en/biblio/touris/contents.htm connects to the home page of LEADER library. This library features documents on rural tourism and has a specific section on agri-tourism. Issues such as marketing, quality and opportunities are highlighted, and examples of cases studies are illustrated.

  3. The final gateway site: http://www.fb.com/nyfb/aglinks.htm connects to the New York Farm Bureau - Agricultural & Informative Links to WWW Sites. This gateway site provides access to five search engines, thirty-two agricultural organizations and publications, eleven agriculture related businesses, three libraries, nine family resources, state and federal agricultural legislation and many more agricultural resources.

  3. This web site: http:www.rural-europe.aeidle.be/rural-en/publish/list.htm lists publications from LEADER magazines. The majority of these publications are online and can be accessed through LEADER's main library web site (above gateway site). Topics include rural policies, quality standards, sustainable development, innovation service, training programs, marketing initiatives and much, much more.

  4. This web site: http://www.cal.cornell.ed/dept/ruralsoc/fap/fap.html is developed by the Department of Rural Sociology of Cornell University and contains a publication list. These publications highlight several agri-tourism issues, such as new product development and marketing alternatives.
