The character’s mouth opens really wide, to show that he is ecstatic to see the apple and he wants to eat it.
Staging 0:08
The apple’s reflection is seen through the character’s eyes. This shows the audience what the focus of the scene is.
Secondary action 0:10
The character blinks and his mouth closes at the same time. This gives the character more life, instead of having only one static expression.
Anticipation 0:01- 0:02
The character is looking off-screen to the apple. This prepares the audience for what is about to happen in the scene. This introduces the next cut in the scene.
