Facilities Services
Facilities Services comprises of three units: Administration & Real Estate Services, Campus Planning & Development and Maintenance & Operations. Collectively, these units are responsible for the stewardship of SFU’s lands and buildings, which encompass more than five million square feet of campus buildings on approximately 157 hectares of land that serve more than 37,000 students.
Our 150+ staff members plus 140+ external contract employees are our most valuable asset. Our credentials vary widely; we are comprised of skilled technicians and trades persons, custodians, groundskeepers, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, operating engineers, maintenance professionals, clerical assistants, engineers, architects, technologists, managers, administrators and more.
