Library Services to Faculty
The SFU Library is dedicated to providing access to collections, services and
facilities of the highest possible quality in support of the teaching, learning,
and research goals of the Simon Fraser University community. The SFU
Library also maintains a Media
Collection, which supplies instructional video and film for classroom instruction
from its own collection and through rentals from other sources.
The SFU Library offers an interactive online tutorial on Understanding
and Avoiding Plagiarism to help students learn to recognize plagiarism
and develop skills to avoid it, such as correct citation of sources, note-taking,
and paraphrasing. If you would like to integrate this tutorial into your WebCT

formerly known as CWIL, develops resources
and strategies to support writing as
a means of learning and thinking in all
disciplines, and assists faculty in planning
and implementing writing-intensive courses
as well as in developing writing assignments
and criteria for grading papers, both
through workshops and individual consultations.
