Each year, Simon Fraser
University honors faculty members
who excel in stimulating
creative and critical thought with
Excellence
in Teaching Awards.
All full and part-time
faculty members and laboratory instructors,
except previous award recipients, are
eligible. Up to three winners
are chosen by a committee of
faculty
members, students, and representatives
from the Alumni Association. Each award,
which is presented in February, is
accompanied by a $2,000 prize.
Former and current students
or faculty members may nominate candidates
for an award. Nominations must be made
in writing, and submitted by October 15th
each year.
