Welcome to the new crew members at Facilties Services Surrey!
October 25, 2021
From Facilities Services Surrey
Facilities Services here at the Surrey Campus is pleased to welcome three new Facilities crew members. With the return to campus, positions that had previously been vacant are now filled.
- We welcome first Wellington Gonzalez (aka DJ Wellz). Wells was previously a Facilities Clerk on the Vancouver Campus. He brings a wealth of experience and a very bright and contagious attitude to his work. He is involved with Ladies Soccer in New Westminster as a coach and hobbies as a music DJ on his time off.
- Next is Nathan Wong. Nathan is an SFU Grad and previously worked part time in the Fraser Library while studying. He is a very warm and quiet individual but always ready to help out the Crew as well as all our clients. He is a quick learner and happy to oblige and we are extremely pleased to have him on board.
- And last, but certainly not least, we welcome Niki Finlayson to the Crew. Niki previously worked for Facilities Service Central Stores on the Burnaby Campus. Always smiling and brightening the day for those around her, she brings her SFU experience to our Crew and is happy to be on the Surrey Campus which is much closer to her home.
They have all fitted into our Crew really well and have already shown themselves to be valuable additions to the Surrey Facilities Services Team.
Does your unit or department have new staff/faculty joining us at SFU Surrey? You can submit a note of welcome to the SFU Surrey Executive Director's Office for us to share on our website. Be sure to mention "new staff/faculty" in the title.
