Congratulations to the team members at Facilities Services Surrey for their recent promotions!
From Facilities Services Surrey
Here we grow again! We’re thrilled to announce some recent promotions in Facilities at the Surrey campus. Please see the announcements below and offer your congratulations to these team members when you see them on campus.
Todd Mann – Project Manager (12 month term)
- Todd has moved into this well-deserved promotional role, after serving in many functions at the Surrey campus, most recently as Assistant Facilities Manager. He will be taking a more active role in the project life cycle and will be the point person for many projects currently in the pipeline. As he’s slowly transitioning into this role, he’ll be re-directing some of his former activities where necessary.
Treena Derrick – Facilities Coordinator (6 month term)
- Treena has been with SFU in a Facilities Clerk capacity for 5+ years. Always quick with solving a problem and forward thinking with the campus reputation at the forefront. Treena has accepted a temporary, 6 month position within the department as Facilities Coordinator. This promotional opportunity will be effective November 8th.
Tony Williams – Senior Facilities Clerk (permanent position)
- Tony has been with SFU for 6+ years, most recently as 1 of 6 facilities clerks with the Facilities Services team. During his tenure, Tony has shown exceptional customer service skills and brings a wealth of institutional knowledge. Tony has now moved into the newly created, permanent position of Senior Facilities Clerk.
Congrats to Todd, Tony and Treena as you embark on your new opportunities! We know you’ll exceed expectations. We would also like to thank all of the other stellar candidates, that applied for these positions.
