I received an email from IRCC saying there is an update in my account. How can I tell if this is really from IRCC or if it is a scam?

If you receive an email from a source claiming to be IRCC, it is important that you identify whether it is a legitimate request. If the email requests additional documents and you are in doubt, you can login to your IRCC account to check your messages. If IRCC has sent you a request for more information/documents, the request should appear in your online account
