Maroon-red is our signature color. It is used to for logos as well as buttons in different states. Other elements use shades of yellow.
The phrase Tavern Finder itself is distinct enough to use as a logotype. The typeface we used, Draconis and Bai Jamjuree, combine with the signature maroon color are our most recognizable brand assets. It is preferred to use the wordmark by itself to evoke the feeling of medieval classiness.
The icons are taken from Figma`s Iconify plug-in. The standard icon size is 24x24 with the exception being the New post button (50x50).
Rather than help finding DnD players in the area, the app has grown to connect players via events and messages, as well as social media posts. The new name captures the identity of the app in a better way comparing to the old one.
User Research was conducted to improve our app and to determine some issues/shortcomings with the app. User Testing and Interviews were also used to help with our research.
