LAN Model 2: Routing

Using the LAN example depicted in Figure 5.4, you could analyze the effects of different routers on packet delays by editing the Router model properties or you could examine the effects of using a Bridge model instead of a Router model. Another scenario might move various Workstation models from one LAN to another to mimic LAN reassignments and then moniter router throughput. It would also be easy to extend this model by adding additional LANs and routers and then investigating routing protocol issues.
