We will discuss the evolution of sustainable investing, engaged ownership, what it means to integrate Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) factors into fundamental analysis, including a discussion of the risks and opportunities resulting from climate change.
Mark is a Partner in Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited's Vancouver office. He is a registered portfolio manager and advises both institutional and private clients on investment strategy, investment policy and portfolio management. Mark’s institutional clients include private and public foundations, university endowments, not-for-profit organizations and pension funds. He is a member of the firm’s internal working group responsible for implementation of sustainable investment initiatives. Mark obtained a B.Comm. in Finance from the University of British Columbia. He serves on the Board of the Down Syndrome Research Foundation and is a member of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. He also serves on the Investment Committee of the Tapestry Foundation for Health Care.
