11. Randall M. Peterman received the J.C. Stevenson Award from the Canadian Conference for Fisheries Research in 1990. This award is given annually by the Canadian Conference for Fisheries Research in the form of an invited keynote address for an "...energetic and creative researcher at the cutting edge of an aquatic discipline."
