Biography
Jesus Pulido has spent the last 9 years doing applied research related to rural and agricultural development in Latin America. His current research focuses on the farmers’ adoption of sustainable agricultural practices, a work he carries out in partnership with the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT). Previous to that, he worked as an analyst in the area of taxation (transfer pricing) for two leading business-consulting firms.
Jesus is a PhD Candidate in Resource Management at Simon Fraser University. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Development & Sustainability from SFU, an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Manchester (UK), and a Bachelor in Economics (Honours) from Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi (Mexico).
