Date and time
When choosing the date and time to hold an event, we consider our target audiences and think about who we are including and who we may be excluding. Here are some things to consider:
- Be mindful of holidays (religious or otherwise) that may impact someone’s ability to attend.
- Will the time of day make it hard for certain people to participate (e.g., seniors, people with childcare responsibilities, people who are not able to attend during work hours)?
- Will you have people joining from other time zones?
- How long will your event run? Consider incorporating a break (including for online events).
