The Centre for Public Policy Research is a research centre housed within Simon Fraser University’s School of Public Policy.
What We Do
The Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR) advances research to address critical public policy challenges locally and globally. The Centre fosters collaboration between students, faculty, and policymakers, creating effective and equitable policies grounded in research. CPPR supports intellectual exchange through its seminar series, provides opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration, and helps students and faculty share their research with broader policy communities through accessible formats like policy briefs and reports.
CPPR Seminar Series
The CPPR Seminar Series, also known as the Policy Spotlight Series, brings together leading experts in public policy to address pressing local, national, and global issues. Through these discussions, students and faculty collaborate with policymakers and practitioners to shape impactful, equitable policies. The series aims to inspire future policymakers and foster innovative ideas by featuring diverse voices at the forefront of today’s policy challenges.
