Biography
Danya Fast is a medical anthropologist and critical qualitative health researcher whose work focuses on adolescents and young adults who use drugs and how they navigate various care and supervision systems while facing interconnected challenges such as unstable housing, homelessness, and overdose in Metro Vancouver. Her research utilizes longitudinal qualitative, ethnographic, and community- and arts-based methods.
