GEP Girls Workshop
Girls Exploring Physics presents free workshops for girls in Grades 9 and 10 held at the SFU Burnaby campus. These workshops include two hands-on activity sessions in physics. They also include a tour of the new Trottier astronomical observatory and a discussion of the career opportunities available to students who study physics at the university level. Participants will have a chance to interact informally with women physics faculty and students from SFU throughout the workshop and during the free pizza lunch.
We'll be at Girls and STEAM at Science World on Saturday, Nov 4, 2023.
Stay tuned for the annoucement for the next workshop!

Our latest workshop was a huge success! The event was attended by 41 girls from local high schools, and everyone had lots of fun. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this happen.
