Support Our Olympian!
Josipa Kafadar, a 5th-year Biological Physics student, will be heading to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this summer to represent Team Canada in Taekwondo (-49kg)! Help cheer her on and join in on raising hype and excitement for her kicking towards her Olympic dream!
With less than one month to go until the Olympic Games start on July 26th, Josipa and her friends and supporters have been running a limited-time t-shirt sale to generate support and spirit. Sales have closed for now, but people interested can still fill out a waitlist form and be prioritized for the next batch.
Aside from buying a t-shirt, you can also support Josipa by contributing through her fundraising page.

Update: Physics will have another department member involved with the Olympics! David Lee, our research technician, will be a functionary for Handball as a member of the Competition Management Team. This team will be responsible for all aspects of the Handball schedule at Paris 2024, including team transportation, media requirements, doping control, and security. He brings with him 35 years of experience with the sport of Handball, including being a player, a coach, and an official.
