SFU Physics BSc graduate wins 2nd prize in the CAP Congress Competition

SFU Physics BSc graduate Frank Wu won 1st prize in the Division of Nuclear Physics Oral Presentation Competition at the 2022 Congress of the Canadian Association of Physicists. He then went on to win 2nd prize overall in the CAP competition against the top presenter from each division. His presentation was entitled "Direct Population and Lifetime Measurement of the 2+1 State in ⁴⁰Ca via an Alpha-transfer Reaction". Frank is doing an MSc degree in the Department of Chemistry at SFU.
