Leea Stott 2018 Recipient for Undergraduate Research in Inorganic Chemistry Award

Leea Stott (Chemical Physics Major) has been awarded the Award for Undergraduate Research in Inorganic Chemistry (AURIC) by the Inorganic Division of the Chemical Institute of Canada. The award is for her work, with Prof. Jeff Warren in Chemistry, on a catalyst for the oxidation of water, an important reaction for storing solar energy.  Her work was published in Chemical Communications. She will present an award lecture at the 101st Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition in Edmonton in May.
