2SLGBTQ+ in STEM meetup

Synopsis

For this years LGBTQ+ in STEM day, the IDEA team is launching a new bi-weekly meetup for 2SLGBTQ+ folk in STEM and their allies. This event is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and visibility for 2SLGBTQ+ department members, and aims to create a safe and welcoming space for queer students while also extending a warm invitation to friends and allies.

Please join us for coffee/tea, treats, and good conversations. Whether you identify as queer or an ally, your presence is valued as we come together to celebrate diversity and promote a more inclusive environment within our academic community.

This event is open to all department members including undergraduate and graduate students.
