2024 Physics Annual Poster Competition

Synopsis

Each research group should contribute at least one poster. The competition is open to graduate students, undergraduate students and post-docs who are undertaking supervised research.

Event Details:
1.  Date: Friday, April 12, 2024, 14:30 - 18:00
2.  Registration Deadline: Friday, April 5, 2024
3.  Poster size: 48 x 36” (4x3’)
4.  Venue: TASC II 7000-level
5.  Prize: 3 x cash awards of $100
6.  Winning posters: This year we are planning to display posters of winners in the hallway of physics main office (7000 level hallway).

If you would like to participate, please sign-up by replying directly to Dr. Eundeok Mun (emun@sfu.ca) via email before Friday, April 5, with:

- your name
- your supervisor’s name
- your research poster title and abstract. Abstract is not necessary, but highly recommended.

Poster Format: Posters should be in portrait format, size 48 x 36” (4x3’) (or alternatively ‘A0’ size). Due to space constraints at the event, horizontal / landscape posters will not be permitted.
