Synopsis
Telescopes have become more sophisticated since their genesis. Modern telescopes have even expanded beyond using just visible light, exploring the use of other wavelengths of the Electromagnetic spectrum. The Pacific Ocean Neutrino Experiment (P-ONE) is a proposed telescope that will take this one step further and use neutrinos to probe the universe from the Pacific Ocean. A standard way of measuring the capabilities of a neutrino telescope is to use a known cosmic observable for comparison. I will describe how we can use the moon as such a source, and moreover how using simulations we can predict the amount of real-time data we would need to get a significant measure of the moon's shadow.
