Pseudogap temperature T* of cuprate superconductors from the Nernst effect
Nov 21, 2018 at 12PM
Synopsis
I will lead the discussion on the recently published paper, “Pseudogap temperature T* of cuprate superconductors from the Nernst effect” by Cyr-Choinière et al. I will briefly provide some background after which we will discuss the role of Nernst effect measurements in determining the boundary of the pseudogap temperature in the temperature-doping phase diagram of hole-doped cuprate superconductors and the implications that follow from the results.
