About REB West 2018

Simon Fraser University, the University of British Columbia Vancouver and Okanagan campuses, together with contributions from Interior Health, the BC Ethics Harmonization Initiative and the Interagency Panel on research Ethics are pleased to present the second annual REB West conference. The conference has been organized to address the education and training needs of all institutions concerned with promoting and fostering an ethics-informed approach to human participant research conducted in the province as well as further afield, to our colleagues in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

We hope the agenda and speakers, as well as the beautiful location of Kelowna, combined with the affordability of a regional event, will encourage attendance. The agenda speaks to the specific needs identified by individuals who participated in the inaugural REB West in 2017. We are truly thrilled with the response by speakers and feel we are offering a very tight, and informative, if not intellectually curious, agenda packed with useful presentations to foster sparkling dialogue.

The tabs for this webpage offer further details about the conference as well as registration information.

We hope to see you in Kelowna!

The Planning Committee is also grateful for the contributions from Interior Health and the BC Ethics Harmonization Initiative.
