Category Four: Abbotsford Classification

Category Four: Abbotsford Classification

The material distribution here is quite uniform in both classification schemes. This uniformity is apparent both in the maps and the elevation ranges for this material in the two systems. The global trends are quite similar and can be easily traced in the maps. In contrast, there are divergent patterns evident at the local level, an indication of minor irregularities partly inherent in the two schemes and due to the use and modelling of well-log data.
