Constraint 3 - Away from other schools
In order to prevent fierce competition with BCIT, the new school is to be built at least 8 km away from BCIT to recruit students who reside closer. The location of BCIT is digitized as a vector layer.
The vector layer is then rasterized, to operate with the module BUFFER, visualizing the area at least 8 km outside of this buffer zone.
This layer is produced where the value outside the buffer zone is 1.
