Computing Science Undergraduates
Our computing science programs give you the knowledge, practical experience and in-demand skills to take advantage of one of the most dynamic and diverse, and lucrative job markets out there.
Co-operative Work Experience
Co-op allows you to take your academic knowledge and apply it in real-world settings. This paid opportunity also allows you to hone your skills within the workplace and trial different companies, industries, and positions. Completing a co-op work term can help with future employment prospects upon graduation; it’s an experience not to be missed.
Our Co-op program is an optional component of the School of Computing Science curriculum in the Faculty of Applied Sciences at SFU. The Co-op program is offered to undergraduate Computing Science students studying at the Burnaby campus and to Software systems students studying at the Surrey campus.
Co-op Options in Computing Science
Depending on your program, your co-op experience will be guided by different work placement teams.
