BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Williamson is a Research Scientist in the Ecosystem, Cryosphere and Climate program at Polar Knowledge Canada. He is interested in how the atmosphere interacts with the Cryosphere, with the aim of better understanding climate change in polar and mountain regions.
His research program is focused on how remote sensing and re-analysis data sets can be used with field-based observations and measurements to better understand climate feedback mechanisms and energy balance across landscapes ranging from tundra to glaciers.
