Fall 2014 Trip: Lekcin Mineral Property
The Society of Economic Geologists’ Student Chapter at Simon Fraser University (SFU) organized a field trip for members to tour and participate in bedrock mapping of the Lekcin grassroots Ni-Cu-PGE mineral property near Hope, BC. The site visit and mapping program was organized and led by members of the student chapter as an opportunity for participants to gain experience in bedrock mapping, field-work, prospecting, and mineral exploration.
